Acknowledgments
First off, thank you all for reading this book. That alone is all I could ask for. Please feel free to send me your feedback as I am very interested in your thoughts. Onto the acknowledgments: I would like to thank my parents for providing me with the opportunity to be where I am. Without them, none of this would even be possible. You have always been my biggest fans and I appreciate that. I would also like to thank my brothers and sister because you have been my biggest critics throughout my entire personal life and professional career. Your encouragement, input and constructive criticism have been priceless. An extra special thank you goes to my older brother who has always been ahead of his time and been the greatest mentor and enabler throughout this project: thanks bro. I would like to thank all of my friends for keeping me grounded and for providing me with some memorable experiences. I would also like to thank every single girlfriend I have had for teaching me how to drop my work once in a while. This being a book for students, it is fitting to thank every single professor I have ever had for having the patience to put up with me. A bigger thank you goes to every single student that has sat through one of my classes. Teaching finance was great but I can honestly say that I learned more than the students did. Thanks to both Concordia and McGill for giving me such an opportunity, the one person that made this possible was Professor Arshad Ahmad: thank you Sir. I would also like to thank every single employer I have had for giving me an opportunity to excel and learn. Furthermore, thanks to every single client I have ever served in any capacity: it truly was my pleasure. Finally, all of my colleagues deserve a big thank you for making every single gig I have had my dream job. Of note, I would like to thank my colleagues at AskMen.com for having founded a great company in the fall of 1999. They handed me the ball on September 11, 2000 and I look forward to going to the office every single day. Rarely have I met a young group with such ambition and passion, it has been great to join such a team and I anticipate greater things to come. I would like to thank every single member of the media that has ever covered myself or one of my projects, I understand that there is no shortage of news-worthy stories so your interest was always appreciated. I would like to thank every single celebrity for granting me an interview throughout my career. It was great to see that no matter how successful one can be, others can always be more successful if they work hard and have a passion for what they do. If you enjoyed reading this book, then a big part of the credit goes to Mr. Ian Harrison, my colleague at AskMen.com, who was willing and interested to edit this book. I had a feeling that Ian was the right person for the job: his knowledge of business, sports, history and entertainment was second to none. His English skills were flawless and his sense of humor was perfect for this book. I can honestly say that asking him to edit the book ranks as one of the best decisions in my life. Ian: thank you. I look forward to working with you on other projects. Finally, thank you to every single person that has supported and encouraged me but a greater thank you goes out to every single person that has tried to hold me back in one way or another. It only fueled my personal drive, ambition and resolve to achieve greater things. Nothing in life is impossible, so go for it and have no regrets. Get your copy here. |
